It has been 6 months since the first of the hurricanes hit us.
It has been a nightmare for all of us and alot of us still have
not recieved the help we need and deserve. I am making this site not only to tell our story but also to build a foundation
for others to tell there stories too.
We ourselves were hit by Hurricane Charley. We live in Port Charlotte
Florida and the winds were 145 mph. The houses in my neighborhood are in the Conway/ Easy St. area so they didn't fare very
well.
Some of our neigbors are living in FEMA trailers in there front
yard and others have either moved away or are living in the FEMA trailer park.
The owner of the house here and myself, did not get a trailer.
We are now all very sick from the mold but we have nowhere else to go.
